The Minnesota Timberwolves dealt the Phoenix Suns a significant blow, and the race for their future is on as TV analyst Stephen A. Smith revealed on ‘First Take’ that a change is coming. One, fans wouldn’t expect to see it happening anytime soon.

Stephen A. Smith hinted that star guard Devin Booker would move to the New York Knicks. He based this on what he’s hearing from NBA inner circles and hasn’t confirmed the information from him yet.

From what I'm being told, it probably, I don't know if it'll ever happen, Devin Booker wants to be in New York. That's what I'm being told… Now, he might deny it, I haven't spoken to him. I'm just telling you, the scuttlebutt in the NBA circles is that brother want to be in New York. Stephen A. Smith said

Devin Booker has established himself as one of the league’s best shooters, and with the Suns failing to go past round one in this year’s playoffs and him not getting any younger, it only adds fuel to the rumors. However, any potential deal taking him away from the Suns would be a handful for the New York Knicks, as they would have to make many concessions.

The three-time NBA All-Star has been with the Suns throughout his career, spanning 598 regular season games, but hasn’t had the time to fight for the championship properly. Thus, it makes more sense that he would love to join forces with the best player in the Eastern Conference, Jalen Brunson, and fight for the title.

Devin Booker and Kevin Durant’s 80 points not enough as Timberwolves sweep Suns

The Phoenix Suns star having a great game against the Minnesota Timberwolves wasn’t enough to propel them to a much-needed win. Despite the combined efforts of Booker and Kevin Durant, who both scored 49 and 33 points, respectively, the T-Wolves still swept them away 126-111 in Game 4.

It’s the first time the Suns have been clean-swept since the 1981-1982 season. And for the T-Wolves, it only shows how much they’ve improved as a team, although the victory ended with a lousy taste involving Head Coach Chris Finch.

The Phoenix Suns now have an opportunity to regroup and return next season. But with rumors of star guard Booker wanting the exit door, it doesn’t help their chances.
